Editor review

Azure Ridge pairs precision jumping with a wall-slide mechanic. The wall-slide is the central tool and the levels teach it across chapter one before stacking enemy patterns and moving platforms in later chapters. The teach-then-stack structure is honest and the difficulty curve never feels artificial.

The wall-slide input is responsive on keyboard and slightly mushy on touch. Wall-jumps require holding into the wall and tapping jump; the hold timing is forgiving and the tap timing is strict.

I played across two evenings and a Copenhagen Copenhagen metro commute. The format suits the commute well; respawn is fast and a single level closes inside a minute at the mid-tier.

The weakness is the chapter-three difficulty spike. Chapter three introduces three new patterns in five levels and the spike is real. A pacing pass on those levels would help. Four stars overall; the wall-slide design is the strongest section and the spike is the weakest.
